Dugong Dive-watch
DUGONG-WATCHING. The Dugong (sea cow) is an endangered marine mammal which can measure up to 3m long and weigh 400 kg, and feeds on seagrass. Dimakya is one of the few areas in the world where dugongs can be observed in their natural habitat.
A professionally-produced ecotourism program, dugong-watching takes the divers and non-divers on a trip along the lengthy coast of Busuanga. To locate the dugongs, go snorkeling or dive with these magnificent mammals.
